Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Queer Health website and the services we offer, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Professional Services

   Queer Health, led by G Satya (they/he), offers individual therapy services, including for adolescents and children. Our practice is informed by Cognitive and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. For adolescents, therapy includes engagement with both the young client and their parent or guardian as needed.

2. Confidentiality

   All interactions are confidential except as required by law. For details on handling information for adolescents and children, see our Privacy Policy.

3. Session Details

   Each therapy session lasts up to 50 minutes. Fees and payment methods are outlined in our Payment Policy. Extended sessions or crisis calls will incur additional charges.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

   Please refer to our Cancellation/Refund Policy for details on cancellations, rescheduling, and associated fees.

5. Punctuality

   Arrive on time for your session. If you do not attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the session will be considered cancelled.

6. Termination

   Therapy can be terminated by either party at any time. For adolescents, it is preferable to have a closing session to ensure proper closure of the therapeutic process.

7. Professional Boundaries

   Our relationship is strictly professional. We do not engage in personal or social relationships outside the therapeutic context.

8. Changes to Terms

   We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
